Since the last fishing report I guided 1 trip a day and limited out every trip in a few hours each trip. We seemed to do well but I wouldn't say the fishing was good for all boats by any means.
The river did not open for it's usual egg day on Aug. 6th and ended up closing for keeping silver salmon. My last guided trip was Aug. 7th.
After guiding season I took my son Caribou hunting for the first time. We were mostly successful as everyone but me killed a boo. It was a fun trip.
One more Caribou trip and 1 or 2 moose tripps left for me. School starts Thursday so hunting time will be limited to how long I can go.

Well, the fishing hasn't been great and we have had to work at getting our limit of fish. Since my last update I have been able to catch my limit on most of my trips except for one. It is expected that the river will NOT open for bait on Aug. 6th like usual. In fact, there is a good chance the river will be reduced to 1 silver per person starting Aug. 6th. They should announce this publicly tomorrow.
