My family went to the Little Sue today along with my niece, Remmi, and my mom . We got there just after 6pm and there were 4 other trucks with trailers in the parking lot. It was a beautiful day for a short boat ride and to try out the fishing gear. The water level was low and dirty with about 8 inches of clarity. Everyone picked their own lures (blue, green and orange wiggle warts). We fished 2 holes and decided we better get back before it got too late for the kids (we still had some 4 wheeling and bike riding to do). Needless to say, we didn't catch any fish and we didn't have any bites. We did see 3 fisherman in another boat but they didn't have any fish. There were no sign of fish at the cleaning table either. I'll give it a (real) try next Saturday morning with my first group of clients. The road was rutted up but dry in most all spots. Hopefully the grater will help with that ASAP.
